Prince Michael of Kent was educated at Sunningdale School and then at Eton College.  Later, he attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he was commissioned as  a second lieutenant in the Royal Scots Greys (2nd Dragoons), a cavalry regiment of the  British Army.
